This shares some of the same cast and crew with “Kinbaku: Hana no Shô” although a different story. Both are centered on Kinbaku, basically rope bondage.

The story is simple. A widow wants revenge from the woman she blames for her husband’s suicide. Revenge is using Kinbaku. Of course, most of us could think of better forms of revenge especially when spending 10,000,000 Yen! That’s like $70,000.

So first we get a back story. Then are treated to seeing the woman put into rope bondage, Kinbaku in front of a seated audience. Along with narration explaining the how and why’s of the knots and mechanics involved with the rope. The narration goes on more than half the movie, interspersed with more of the characters back story. Up to that point, the movie is very interesting and even educational. Then it falls apart….
